Open science and publication culture

TU Wien Academic Press is an academic open access publisher and is provided as a service by TU Wien Bibliothek. TU Wien Academic Press operates on a non-profit basis. The publisher promotes an ‘Open Science’ and publication culture by delivering professional support for works being published within the framework of the TU Wien’s key fields of research and strategic orientation.

It publishes books from the entire bandwidth of subjects in which TU Wien is active. The portfolio ranges from architecture, urban and spatial planning, climate and energy, transportation, computer science, artificial intelligence to works related to Vienna and the region of Central and Southeastern Europe. The publisher uses open access e-books as the standard format and thus provides support to all researchers at TU Wien that is in line with the university’s open access policy. It is also possible to publish books in print as an option.
